Bachata is a sensual and romantic couple dancing from The Dominican Republic (Carribian).
A more simple dance which focuses on the close contact to your partner and smooth bodymovements
which can be spiced up with fun & charming combinations.
The music has a contageious rhythm and the dance is full of life and soul despite that the
the lyrics often is about miserable love.
Bachata is played and dances at the salsa dancefloors
and is a nice break between the fast salsa tracks and is regularly easy to learn.
There are the original Bachata, danced by the Carribean people,
and then there is the more modern Bachata.
We teach the modern Bachata (which is danced out on the dancefloors,
both in Denmark and on the international salsa scene).
